Hola, la luz de testigo está siempre encendida. Desarmé los plásticos de la palanca y el botón que lo enciende funciona y está conectado, pero no se que puede ser lo que lo haga estar siempre prendido. El freno en sí no funciona, tengo que tirarme abajo y tensarlo supongo porque desde la palanca lo tensé un poco, se pone muy duro y sigue sin frenar. Gracias!

Hola, en la mía tenía el mismo problema, yo opte por desarmar los plásticos, limpiar y lubricar el pulsador de la palanca. Respecto al funcionamiento del freno en sí, tendrías que revisar el estado de los frenos traseros.

Hola,el manual del Sidekick dice que la luz se enciende cuando sucede lo que dice mas abajo..
Brake System Warning Light This light comes on briefly when the ignition switch is turned to the "ON" position. The light also comes on under the following four conditions: 1) when the ignition switch is turned to the "START" position, 2) when the parking brake is engaged, and 3) when the fluid in the brake fluid reservoir falls below the specified level, or 4) when there is malfunction in the rear wheel anti-lock brake system. The light should go out after starting the engine and fully releasing the parking brake, if the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir is adequate. If the brake system warning light comes on while you are driving the vehicle, it may mean that there is something wrong with the vehicle's brake system.

Ajá! Eso es peor de lo que pensaba. Mañana chequeo el nivel del líquido para frenos. Gracias!

Hola! Chequee el líquido para freno y esta bien de nivel. Me Di cuenta que si la arrancó pisando el freno, el testigo no se prende hasta que lo suelto. Alguna otra idea de que pueda ser? Me dijeron que quizás el reservorio del líquido para frenos tenga un flotante que no funciona (nunca habia esxuchado eso)

Seguramente ese es el sensor de nivel de liquido de frenos. No investigue demasiado pero no parece ser un sistema con flotante.
