Sept. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Renault SA’s Dacia unit in Romania
plans to sell its Duster sport-utility vehicle in Britain,
Russia, Brazil and India, Ziarul Financiar reported today,
citing Jerome Olive, the subsidiary’s chief executive officer.
Dacia will make the Duster with right-hand steering for
sale in the U.K. market from 2012 and will export the vehicle to
Russia, Brazil and India in kit form, the newspaper said.
Renault has invested as much as 40 million euros ($51
million) this year in a new spare parts center in Romania,
Financiar said.
